Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a GIS Specialist IV to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional who can independently manage and contribute to GIS design, mapping, and analysis projects. The role involves working under general direction while taking initiative on most assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and apply a broad range of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) database and spreadsheet software for GIS design, mapping, and analysis.
• Independently contribute to the design of databases or the development of geodatabases and systems.
• Compile and analyze GIS data.
• Evaluate commercial GIS applications.
• Design and develop GIS applications for internal use and for client deliverables.
• Perform most assignments independently, with instruction provided on general expected results.
• Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and obtain supervisory approval for proposed project plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems.
• Proficiency in GIS database and spreadsheet software.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage assignments with minimal supervision.
