About the Role

Saudi Consulting Services (Saudconsult) is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in the GRC field.

Role Purpose

The GRC Specialist will support the organization’s overall governance, risk, and compliance function. This involves working closely with program and project teams to embed sound governance practices, effectively manage risk exposure, and ensure consistent adherence to regulatory requirements across all initiatives undertaken by the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review internal policies and procedures in line with applicable regulations.
• Embed governance controls and risk management practices within programs and projects, ensuring alignment with PMO standards.
• Conduct periodic operational and compliance risk assessments across projects and programs, identifying and addressing any gaps.
• Monitor departments' and program teams' adherence to established governance and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies as needed and track relevant legislative updates.
• Participate in internal and external audit activities and provide necessary support.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance roles. This includes proven experience in building and implementing corporate governance frameworks, managing organizational risk, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Candidate Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate a practical understanding of both local and international compliance standards. The role requires an individual who can work analytically and systematically, adapting effectively to a dynamic work environment.
