Graduate Geophysicist

About the Role

Fleet and Tahreez is seeking a Graduate Geophysicist to join its Exploration team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, entry-level position designed to develop the technical skills of an early-career geoscientist. The role involves working alongside senior geophysicists on the processing, modelling, and interpretation of diverse geophysical datasets within active mineral exploration programs.

Role Purpose and Development

The Graduate Geophysicist will gain hands-on experience with Fleet’s ExoSphere platform and its end-to-end acquisition-to-inversion pipeline, learning best-practice workflows. Through mentorship and project work, the individual will progressively assume greater technical ownership and independence, with a clear development pathway towards a Project Geophysicist role. This position requires a strong drive to learn and contribute to customer exploration programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the interpretation and application of geophysical techniques for subsurface data analysis in mineral exploration projects, under senior guidance.
• Support the compilation of technical reports and presentations, communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Learn and apply best-practice data processing and interpretation workflows, utilizing standard tools and methods.
• Assist in the development of geophysical inversions, including model building and uncertainty analysis.
• Develop proficiency in processing, interpreting, and integrating multidisciplinary geophysical data (seismic, electromagnetic, gravity, and magnetic).
• Adhere to established industry standards and internal processes across all geophysical activities.
• Support data collection and survey design activities, understanding how site conditions and project requirements influence acquisition decisions.
• Participate in customer exploration programs, applying geophysical expertise to project needs alongside senior colleagues.
• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and other technical disciplines, while adhering to company HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Engage with internal research into new techniques and technologies, and support their integration into daily workflows.
• Maintain thorough, auditable, and well-organized documentation for all work.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• A degree in Geophysics or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Demonstrated curiosity, rigour, and a strong drive to learn.

Work Environment

The role is based in Riyadh and involves working within a collaborative Exploration team. The position requires engagement with both internal teams and external customer exploration programs.
