About the Role
Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking a Group, Conference and Events (GCE) Sales Coordinator to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing and coordinating group event bookings within the hotel environment, contributing to the overall guest experience.
Role Purpose
The GCE Sales Coordinator is responsible for securing and coordinating group event bookings for meetings and accommodations. This role focuses on delivering memorable experiences for guests by ensuring efficient management of event details and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming inquiries and secure sales for meetings and group accommodations, typically for 10–50 rooms, including meeting space, food & beverage, and ancillary services.
- Prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through outbound efforts, proposal writing, and tailored sales strategies.
- Conduct site inspections and hotel tours, highlighting key spaces and services that align with client needs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with clients and vendors, exercising discretion and authority.
- Serve as the primary point of contact from contract to event execution, coordinating group details including room blocks, F&B, billing, performance clauses, and affiliate revenue opportunities.
- Input and update event details in booking systems, coordinate site visits, and arrange VIP services.
- Prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), group resumes, menus, diagrams, and post-event reports to ensure alignment across teams.
- Prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and maintain accurate records to support high-quality service and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Operations, Catering, and Revenue teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service.
