HVAC Operator Industrial Refrigeration

About the Role

Daikin Saudi is seeking an HVAC Operator - Industrial Refrigeration to join their team in the Riyadh Region. This full-time role involves the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction. The operator will work independently at customer sites while coordinating with supervisors and service teams to meet contractual service level agreements and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various HVAC systems, including air-cooled and centrifugal chillers, VRV and DX systems, ammonia industrial refrigeration plants, and commercial refrigeration units.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control faults within HVAC systems.
• Support commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities in adherence to OEM standards.
• Identify root causes of breakdowns, implement preventative measures, and optimize system performance through servicing and adjustments.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.

Customer Interaction and Reporting

• Represent the service team on customer sites, clearly explaining service activities and findings.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery.
• Complete all required reports, checklists, and job documentation accurately.
• Record system data, identified faults, and actions taken during service calls.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, planners, and spare-parts teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Safety and Professional Development

• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and permit systems.
• Handle tools, equipment, and refrigerants safely and responsibly.
• Maintain current product and service knowledge through continuous learning and participation in training programs.
• Apply new knowledge and skills effectively in field activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of experience in HVAC operation and industrial refrigeration. A strong technical background in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC and refrigeration systems is essential.
