HVAC Operator Industrial Refrigeration

About the Role

Daikin Saudi is seeking an HVAC Operator - Industrial Refrigeration to join their team in the Riyadh Region. This full-time role involves the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various HVAC systems, with a focus on industrial refrigeration. The operator will perform hands-on service work independently at customer sites and coordinate closely with supervisors and service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Service air-cooled and centrifugal chillers, VRV/DX systems, industrial ammonia refrigeration plants, and commercial refrigeration units.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control faults, and implement corrective actions.
• Support commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities in adherence to OEM standards.
• Identify root causes of issues, work to reduce repeat breakdowns, and optimize system performance through servicing and adjustments.
• Escalate complex or recurring technical issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.

Customer Interaction and Documentation

• Represent the service team professionally at customer sites.
• Communicate service activities, findings, and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete service reports, checklists, and all job documentation accurately and on time.
• Record system data, identified faults, and actions taken during service calls.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, planners, and spare parts teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Safety and Professional Development

• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and permit systems.
• Handle tools, equipment, and refrigerants safely and responsibly.
• Stay current with product knowledge and service best practices through continuous learning.
• Actively participate in training programs and apply new knowledge in field activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in HVAC operations, particularly with industrial refrigeration systems. The role requires a strong technical understanding of HVAC and refrigeration principles, along with practical skills in troubleshooting and repair.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working independently at various customer sites. The role is full-time and requires a commitment to maintaining high service standards and safety protocols.
