Sitaf Food is seeking an Import & Customs Clearance Specialist (Food / SFDA) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in the field. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for product registrations, certifications, and customs clearance, specifically within the food sector and in adherence to Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) standards.

Role Overview

The Import & Customs Clearance Specialist will manage SFDA processes, import documentation, and regulatory approvals. This position is critical in ensuring that all imported products meet legal and quality standards, contributing to the smooth operation of import activities for Sitaf Food.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee product registrations, labeling approvals, and certifications with SFDA and other relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth clearance of shipments, resolving any documentation or compliance issues.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to integrate regulatory requirements into sourcing and shipping processes.
• Track changes in SFDA regulations, customs requirements, and import laws, and update internal stakeholders accordingly.
• Identify risks related to compliance, delays, or product rejections, and escalate and resolve issues to avoid business disruption.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in import and customs clearance, with a specific focus on food products and SFDA regulations.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active engagement with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
