About the Opportunity

Harjai Technologies is seeking an Information Security Engineer or Senior Information Security Engineer to join its IT team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for professionals dedicated to enhancing and maintaining robust information security frameworks. A notice period of immediate to 30 days is preferred for successful candidates.

Role Purpose

The Information Security Engineer will play a crucial role in safeguarding enterprise systems and data. This involves managing and enhancing security platforms, conducting thorough assessments, and effectively responding to security incidents. The position is central to ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of organizational assets through the implementation of strong security controls and adherence to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and enhance Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms.
• Administer Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and server access permissions.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and operational maintenance in accordance with established security best practices.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, security scans, and risk evaluations.
• Monitor and investigate security incidents, alerts, and threats.
• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Digital Rights Management (DRM), and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to protect organizational assets.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to strengthen security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare security reports, documentation, and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of enterprise systems and data.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • For the Information Security Engineer role: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • For the Senior Information Security Engineer role: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+
• Microsoft SC Series
• PAM/IAM vendor certifications
• GIAC certifications (specifically for candidates with Digital Forensics and Incident Response experience)
