About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Inspector - Telecom & IT to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for monitoring the performance of telecom and IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability of communication networks and the availability of systems across transport operations. The role is integral to maintaining the integrity and functionality of critical communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect various aspects of telecom infrastructure, including fiber networks, switches, routers, servers, and communication systems.
• Monitor contractor performance in maintaining network uptime, connectivity, and overall system reliability.
• Verify adherence to technical specifications, cybersecurity standards, and operational requirements.
• Identify faults, network degradation, and system issues, and ensure prompt implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Network Operations Centers (NOC), data center teams, and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) teams to resolve critical communication and system issues.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom, IT infrastructure, or ITS systems, preferably within the transport sector or large infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in system inspections, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with data centers, cybersecurity practices, and enterprise IT systems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspecting and understanding telecom and IT infrastructure, including fiber networks, switches, routers, and servers.
• Strong knowledge of network systems, communication protocols, and IT infrastructure.
• Expertise in system inspections, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with data centers, cybersecurity practices, and enterprise IT systems.
• Ability to ensure network uptime, connectivity, and system reliability.
• Capability to verify compliance with technical specifications, cybersecurity standards, and operational requirements.
• Skill in identifying faults, network degradation, and system issues, and in coordinating corrective actions.
• Experience in coordinating with NOC, data center, and ITS teams for issue resolution.
