Instock Manager Strategic Initiatives MENA

About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking an Instock Manager, Strategic Initiatives, MENA, to join the A-Now team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves building new business from the ground up within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for influencing stakeholders, developing buying and sourcing strategies for new categories, and ensuring flawless execution while continuously analyzing key metrics for business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

The Instock Manager will oversee inventory management, data analysis, cross-functional leadership, and process improvement initiatives. This includes understanding complex business, technology, and operations processes to devise optimal engagement models.

Inventory Management

• Lead daily inventory health metrics and accuracy.
• Drive strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess/aged inventory.
• Implement and maintain inventory control processes.
• Monitor shrinkage and damage rates.

Data Analysis and Forecasting

• Analyze historical data to predict future inventory needs.
• Create demand forecasts and recommend order quantities.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Cross-functional Leadership and Process Improvement

• Partner with operations, transportation, and procurement teams.
• Drive alignment between planning and execution teams.
• Escalate and resolve inventory-related issues across networks.
• Lead projects to improve instock performance.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and coach team members on inventory management best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. Essential skills include high judgment, analytical talent, and strong document writing skills with concise communication. The role requires an individual who can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, manage ambiguity, and navigate competing priorities.
