Job Description
About Lucidya and the Role
Lucidya is an AI-native platform for customer experience (CX) intelligence, assisting organizations in understanding their customers and taking action across the entire customer lifecycle. Our platform includes Social Listening, OmniServe, Survey, and AI Agent solutions, designed to convert customer data into improved experiences and measurable business outcomes. We are seeking a Jr Product Designer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis. This role is integral to our rapidly growing company, where the quality of customer experience is paramount.
Role Purpose and Impact
As a Jr Product Designer, you will collaborate with experienced designers, gaining exposure to the complete product design process. This includes understanding problems, exploring solutions, testing ideas, and creating refined experiences for engineers to implement. The products you will work on are often complex and data-heavy, supporting critical business decisions for enterprise customers. A key challenge will be to simplify this complexity. The role also offers an opportunity to build strong product design fundamentals within a bilingual environment, considering Arabic, English, and RTL design requirements for customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements, research, and guidance from senior designers into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that simplify complex customer workflows.
- Develop an understanding of the "why," "who," and "what success looks like" behind design problems.
- Participate in discovery, planning, and refinement conversations with Product and Engineering teams, asking clarifying questions, and learning how design decisions impact development.
- Apply strong fundamentals in hierarchy, layout, interaction, usability, and visual design, while working within and contributing to Lucidya's design system.
- Actively participate in design critiques, explain design decisions, and integrate feedback constructively.
- Support research and usability testing efforts by capturing customer feedback, identifying patterns, and translating insights into design improvements.
- Design for regional considerations, including Arabic and English experiences and RTL layouts.
- Present designs and explain design rationale to Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 1-2 years of relevant product design experience. Strong internships, academic work, or personal projects can also demonstrate a solid foundation.
- A natural curiosity for problem-solving, consistently asking "Why are we doing this?", "Who is this for?", and "Is there a simpler way?".
- Comfortable with not knowing everything, asking questions when clarification is needed, and listening to feedback.
- Receptive to feedback and capable of acting on it, taking design critiques constructively to develop stronger solutions.
- Clear communication skills, able to explain design decisions simply and identify areas for improvement.
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the broader picture, noticing inconsistencies and usability issues while understanding that good design achieves customer outcomes.
- Collaborative approach, recognizing the importance of working with Product Managers, Engineers, researchers, writers, and other designers.
- Solid foundation in Figma and UX fundamentals, including information architecture, interaction design, usability, and visual hierarchy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes undefined environment, making progress without requiring every step to be outlined.
- Must be a Saudi national, as this position is designated for Saudi nationals.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with B2B, SaaS, data-heavy, or analytics products.
- Exposure to AI-powered products, conversational interfaces, or AI agents.
- Experience designing Arabic/English or RTL experiences.
- Familiarity with tools such as FigJam, Maze, LogRocket, or similar research and testing tools.
Work Location
This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- For Saudis Only
- Requires 2-5 Years experience
