About the Role

Albawani is seeking a Junior IT Technical Support professional to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of the company's IT systems and hardware within the construction industry. The position involves providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.

Role Purpose

The Junior IT Technical Support Technician is responsible for delivering technical assistance and troubleshooting to ensure the efficient functioning of the company’s IT infrastructure. This role supports the maintenance, configuration, and resolution of IT issues, assisting end-users and contributing to overall system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets for both hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to PCs, printers, network devices, and various applications.
• Provide technical support to end-users, both remotely and on-site.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software for end-users.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications.
• Perform routine system checks to ensure functionality and security.
• Support the maintenance of network infrastructure, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Assist with the configuration of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Help monitor network performance and ensure system uptime.
• Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, support tickets, and troubleshooting resolutions.
• Report technical issues to senior IT staff and propose improvements for system efficiency.
• Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on the use of IT systems and tools.
• Assist in creating user guides and help documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience in IT technical support. A foundational understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting is required.
