Tejoury is seeking a Junior Network and Security Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position requiring 0-1 years of experience, focused on designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructures.

Role Overview

The Junior Network and Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems. This role involves proactively identifying and mitigating security risks within the network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Implement and manage network security measures such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and access controls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, and alerts.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage user access, authentication systems, and identity management solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (*, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SAMA if applicable).
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network architecture and security protocols.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends.

Required Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in network and security roles.

Working Conditions

• This is a full-time position.
• On-call support may be required for emergencies or critical incidents.
• Occasional after-hours work may be necessary for maintenance or upgrades.
