Job Description
About Namaa Partners
Namaa Partners is a strategy advisory firm primarily serving organizations in Saudi Arabia and companies with significant interests in the region. The firm's work encompasses corporate strategy, growth and market entry, operating model and efficiency, organization and talent, digital strategy, performance improvement, and governance and risk. Clients include family groups, holding companies, listed corporations, private equity portfolio companies, banks, insurers, government entities, and industrial operators. Principals are responsible for scoping and delivering mandates, ensuring that analysis presented for decisions originates from those who signed off on it.
The Role of Junior Operations Analyst
Namaa Partners is seeking a Junior Operations Analyst to support the operational aspects of the firm's mandates. This entry-level, full-time position, based in Riyadh with a hybrid work arrangement, involves maintaining accurate reporting, tracking, and working documents essential for principals in board and committee meetings. The analyst will establish and maintain recurring operational cadences, ensuring engagement reporting is accurate and current across active mandates, and developing a clear operational overview of the firm's work. The role carries direct accountability for critical materials relied upon by others within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the active mandate tracker, including engagement status, key dates, named owners, and next decision points, with weekly updates circulated before Monday.
- Develop and refresh reporting packs for principals attending board and committee meetings, verifying that all figures trace back to their sources.
- Attend internal scoping and staffing discussions, take notes, and produce concise written records with assigned owners and dates.
- Compile the firm's operating data on mandate pipeline, utilization, and engagement economics, highlighting any significant changes in figures.
- Prepare initial drafts of client working documents, such as issue logs, action registers, and meeting minutes, and revise them in collaboration with the owning principal.
- Ensure consistency in templates and reference materials for recurring deliverables to streamline new engagement initiations.
Decision-Making Framework
The principal who scopes a mandate also staffs it and remains involved through its delivery, determining weekly engagement needs and approving all client-facing materials. As an analyst, you will report to this principal and the designated engagement lead. Your tracking documents will be integral to their assessment of work progress. The expectation is to proactively flag any potential issues in clear terms rather than at deadlines. Your analysis of the numbers will serve as a key input for decision-making.
Candidate Profile and Growth Opportunities
This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are keen to learn the operational craft of strategy advisory. The position offers direct exposure to how mandates are scoped and staffed, participation in working sessions where perspectives are formed, and an understanding of what constitutes a defensible number in a board setting. The experience will span various client types, including family groups, listed corporations, financial institutions, and government entities, across strategy, operating model, and performance work. Successful candidates typically demonstrate strong writing skills, comfort with ambiguity in client-specific contexts, and a willingness to be accountable for numerical accuracy. The role often involves addressing questions with rough deadlines rather than prescribed steps, emphasizing the importance of current trackers, accurate packs, and principals being informed before meetings. The first year in this role is designed to provide extensive learning on decision-making processes, exceeding what most junior positions offer.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating on a hybrid work model. The Junior Operations Analyst will work alongside principals and other analysts.
