Key Account Manager

About the Role

Solenis is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on technical sales within the processed food and dairy sectors, involving direct client engagement, proposal development, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical sales calls with new and existing clients.
• Respond to sales inquiries and address concerns via phone, electronically, or in person.
• Schedule sales activities and develop comprehensive sales action plans and strategies.
• Prepare and present technical sales proposals and contracts.
• Monitor and report on sales activities, ensuring timely follow-up for management.
• Maintain detailed sales activity records and generate sales reports.
• Ensure high levels of customer service satisfaction and foster strong client relationships.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product developments by analyzing trends and identifying sales opportunities.
• Continuously update technical and selling skills through studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
• Develop new sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, soliciting new business, building rapport, providing technical information, and preparing quotations.
• Contribute to department and organizational goals by taking ownership of new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
• Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and recommending policy and procedure enhancements.

Managed Customer Categories

The role involves managing customer categories specifically within the processed food and dairy sectors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry division).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the food & beverage industry.
