About the Role

Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Kitchen and Laundry Maintenance Technician to join its Engineering Department. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel's kitchen and laundry facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventive servicing of all related equipment, contributing to guest satisfaction and upholding Mandarin Oriental's safety and hygiene standards. Mandarin Oriental is globally recognized for its luxury hotels, resorts, and residences, with the Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh offering a blend of timeless elegance and legendary service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections, servicing, and repairs of all kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, ovens, deep fryers, steamers, mixers, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, ironers, and extractors.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to repair requests and equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Monitor the condition and performance of gas, electrical, steam, and water connections associated with kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new kitchen and laundry machinery.
• Adhere strictly to lockout/tagout procedures during machinery servicing to ensure safety.
• Assist other members of the engineering team with general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in all work areas.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.
