About the Role

This role focuses on managing last-mile logistics and supply chain operations within the quick commerce sector. The position involves acting as a trusted advisor and operating partner to business owners, guiding them through the growth and optimization of their delivery businesses. The role is based in Saudi Arabia, with potential engagement across the Middle East and Turkey region.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Last Mile Logistics, Supply Chain Manager, you will partner with a portfolio of 25-30 Delivery Service Partner (DSP) owners across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh and Jeddah. These owners may range from entrepreneurs with no prior logistics background to established carriers. Your primary responsibility is to guide these business owners through different stages of their operations, assisting with strategy development, driving accountability, and monitoring key performance metrics. You will collaborate with internal teams, including Program Managers, Compliance, and Finance, to ensure DSPs launch and scale their businesses in compliance with program requirements. A significant part of the role involves analyzing problems, identifying insights, delivering recommendations, and driving change to improve financial, operational, and safety practices at a network level.

Key Operational Focus Areas

• Safety: Partner with safety and regional management teams to ensure business safety compliance.
• Performance Management: Guide owners in scaling their businesses, managing operational issues, and preparing for peak periods. Support new owner onboarding and launch preparation.
• Tool Utilization and Improvement: Coach owners on effective use of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) tools and identify opportunities for customer metric improvement.
• Process Adherence: Champion consistent application of last-mile processes within delivery stations and address challenges impacting operations.
• Business Coaching: Coach business owners to operate compliant, safe, and high-performing companies.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement operational improvements at the network level to enhance DSP owner experience.
• Relationship Development: Foster and develop the relationship between Amazon and DSP partners, acting as the voice of the DSP within the AMZL business.
• Driver Standards: Improve driver standards to protect brand image.
• Capacity Planning: Work with DSPs to develop effective ramp plans and meet driver supply goals for peak volume demands.

Collaboration and Communication

This role requires frequent collaboration with a wide array of internal stakeholders, including Partner Relations (PAR), Value Added Services (VAS), Legal, and teams focused on fleet and network health. You will also facilitate and execute Monitoring and Enforcement Policies (MEP) and build two-way feedback channels with Operations teams, DSPs, and global product and strategy teams.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field. This full-time position requires flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple sites to engage with business owners weekly.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, with opportunities to work in Riyadh and Jeddah. The role involves regular travel to engage with business owners.
