About the Role

Salt is seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect for a 12-month contract role with a major organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This on-site position requires a professional to provide enterprise-wide solution architecture leadership, guiding governance and design across critical technology domains including ERP, digital platforms, integration, data, and operational systems.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will define and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices. This role involves acting as the senior design authority for high-level solution designs and key architectural decisions. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end solution architecture across major technology initiatives.
• Guiding Solution and Domain Architects and overseeing Architecture Review Board and Design Authority processes.
• Ensuring all solutions are secure, scalable, integrated, and operationally effective.
• Maintaining architecture documentation and promoting the reuse of existing solutions.
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, PMO, security, operations, QA, and technology vendors.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with significant senior solution or enterprise architecture leadership.
• Proven experience leading architecture within large and complex organizations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Candidates must be based in Riyadh or able to relocate and mobilize quickly.

Technical and Architectural Skills

Proficiency in the following areas is expected:

• Solution Architecture and Design
• ERP Systems (including Oracle Fusion)
• Digital Platforms
• Integration Architecture
• Data Architecture
• Operational Systems
• Architecture Governance
• Familiarity with the TOGAF framework

Additional Skills and Attributes

In addition to technical skills, the role requires:

• Strong leadership and team direction capabilities.
• Effective stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of security principles and scalability considerations.

Relevant architecture certifications are highly desirable.

Contract Details and Location

This is a 12-month contract position. The working model is on-site, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires an immediate start (ASAP).
