About the Role

The Saudi National Bank (SNB) is seeking a skilled Solution Architecture Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for managing and monitoring end-to-end solution development, including the oversight of architectural blueprints, to enhance organizational systems and align with business requirements. The role is pivotal in shaping the bank's technological future by ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant architectural solutions that support business objectives and foster innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and drive the implementation of architectural blueprints, influencing stakeholders and ensuring compliance with architectural standards across various technology domains to support product teams in reliably launching solutions and services.
• Compile, deliver, and evangelize end-to-end architectural blueprints and roadmaps by leveraging deep expertise in multiple related disciplines to guide the evolution of infrastructure, products, and services.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing constructive criticism and assessment of various initiatives to Architects in each domain, guiding technology strategy and offering persuasive ideas to decision-makers across multiple domains.
• Guide delivery leads and solution delivery partners in creating overall solution architecture and provide support throughout the solution development lifecycle until go-live, ensuring business and organizational outcomes are met.
• Manage infrastructure teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with the overall architecture and identify necessary modifications to the technical architecture to accommodate infrastructural needs.
• Provide architecture governance to support the entire project delivery lifecycle, including the pre-initiation phase, ensuring that architectural deliverables are complete and of the required quality.
• Collaborate with business development and key business stakeholders to develop solution proposals and architecture options for review and recommendation.
• Monitor team members on best practices within their area of expertise and communicate enterprise-wide issues to the team through internal and external communication channels to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
• Define technical specifications for RFIs and RFPs for technology and application developers, and moderate the technical evaluation of proposals to identify and engage the best organizations for SNB's systems enhancement.
• Review and approve statements and reports, ensuring they are accurate and published in a timely manner to meet operational/business requirements, policies, and standards.
• Organize and supervise the activities and work of team members to ensure efficient execution of all work within the project team, adhering to operating procedures and policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be of Saudi nationality.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT Architecture or a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Knowledge of banking IT architecture.
• Understanding of banking operations and requirements.
• Proven experience in translating business needs into IT systems and operations.
