Legal Counsel (FMCG)

About the Role

This full-time Legal Counsel position, offered through Michael Page, is based in Riyadh. The role focuses on providing legal advisory services across international markets to support business expansion within a leading FMCG company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the international growth of a prominent Saudi business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, strategic initiatives, and day-to-day business activities across international markets.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, partnership, and service contracts.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying legal risks and recommending practical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial transactions and business operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and corporate governance requirements across international markets.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide timely legal guidance to business stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent legal qualification.
• 5-10 years of experience in corporate law, commercial law, transactions, or a related legal field.
• Demonstrated experience in international commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and legal risk assessments across multiple markets.
• Strong knowledge and experience in commercial agreements, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract management, and transaction structuring.
