The Role: Legal Counsel

BCG Saudi is seeking a seasoned and skilled Legal Counsel to join its Global Legal Team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for a lawyer capable of independently managing the full spectrum of global legal issues facing BCG, with a specific focus on commercial contracting. The Legal Counsel will be a fully integrated member of the team, primarily supporting the Middle East and the broader EMESA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate fully into BCG's Global Legal Team, focusing on commercial matters, commercial risk identification, and internal process improvement across the Middle East and broader EMESA region (Europe, Middle East, South America, Africa).
• Champion BCG contracting and risk management standards.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including global master services agreements, licensing agreements, subcontractor and partnership agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
• Independently draft legal documents efficiently.
• Implement, develop, and champion BCG contracting and other policies and processes, providing assistance for approvals on policy deviations.
• Provide contracting support to other regions globally and offer general counsel and advice across the full range of legal issues facing a leading multinational professional services organization.
• Offer general counseling and manage a full spectrum of business and legal issues, which may include licensing, intellectual property, transaction structuring and support, data protection, competition law and trade regulations, and conflicts of interest.
• Identify risks and issues, proposing alternative solutions.
• Collaborate effectively across BCG and within the Global Legal Team to resolve complex legal issues.
• Act as a bridge and point of contact between functions and business units for legal issue resolution.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Legal Team know-how and templates.
• Perform other assigned or required duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Overall professional experience of 5-10 years.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of commercial contracting experience with international exposure.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience with a reputable law firm.
• Prior relevant in-house legal experience is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves supporting BCG's operations primarily across the Middle East and the broader EMESA region, as an integral part of the Global Legal Team.
