Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in logistics, focusing on coordinating the movement of materials and equipment for project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for materials, equipment, tools, and project supplies.
• Plan and coordinate transportation, including trucks, trailers, cranes, and other logistics resources.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, site teams, and project management.
• Track shipments and ensure materials are delivered to site according to project schedules.
• Prepare and maintain delivery notes, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), shipping documents, transport permits, and logistics records.
• Monitor vehicle movements, driver schedules, loading/unloading activities, and delivery status.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams regarding material availability and dispatch requirements.
• Ensure proper handling, loading, securing, and transportation of materials and equipment.
• Arrange transportation for mobilization/demobilization of personnel and equipment when required.
• Monitor logistics costs and support cost-effective transportation planning.
• Maintain updated logistics trackers and prepare daily/weekly status reports.
• Resolve delivery delays, transportation issues, and site access constraints.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, site procedures, Saudi regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with customs/clearing agents for imported materials and equipment when applicable.
• Support project teams during major mobilization, demobilization, and material movement activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in logistics coordination or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and track multiple shipments and logistics resources.
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and record-keeping.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The Logistics Coordinator will work within a dynamic project environment, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient material flow.
