About the Role

Sama Construction & Contracting is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to supporting the efficient management and coordination of logistics operations across all project sites. Operating within a large-scale, fast-paced environment, the Logistics Coordinator ensures that project assets, equipment, accommodation, transportation, site access, and project resources are effectively controlled, tracked, and managed to enable smooth project delivery.

Asset and Equipment Management

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee the comprehensive management of project assets and equipment. Key responsibilities in this area include:

• Controlling, tracking, and managing project assets and equipment to ensure optimal utilization and availability across site locations.
• Maintaining rigorous operational continuity by keeping accurate, up-to-date inventory and asset tracking records.

Fleet and Transportation Coordination

This role involves managing all aspects of transportation and fleet operations for project personnel and resources, including:

• Overseeing and arranging transportation logistics and travel arrangements for project personnel and resources.
• Managing vehicle fleet allocation, monitoring usage, maintenance, and vehicle deployment across sites.
• Utilizing vehicle booking systems and staff entry permitting platforms to streamline operations.

Site Access and Accommodation

The Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating seamless access to project sites and ensuring appropriate accommodation for team members:

• Coordinating all site access protocols, security clearances, and entry requirements across multiple project locations.
• Managing accommodation allocation and logistics support for project team members and resource personnel.

Operational Compliance and Stakeholder Liaison

A key aspect of this role is ensuring adherence to operational standards and fostering effective communication with various parties:

• Serving as a key liaison between internal teams, contractors, and external service providers to maintain seamless workflows.
• Monitoring compliance with established project logistics procedures, safety guidelines, and operational standards.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports to document logistics activities and performance.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Logistics Coordinator position should bring 5 to 10 years of experience in logistics coordination. Experience within a large-scale, fast-paced construction or contracting environment is highly valued.
