Job Description
About the Role
HungerStation, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Logistics Optimization Assistant Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations to ensure a seamless delivery experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Reduce delivery times from order dispatch to delivery across multiple stages and time KPIs.
- Increase on-time deliveries by improving system estimations, accuracy, and reducing outliers.
- Optimize the dispatch algorithm to achieve faster delivery times and minimize early cancellation orders.
- Analyze customer delivery experiences and enhance factors impacting the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Optimize stacked orders for cost savings while maintaining a high customer experience.
- Manage and reduce Cost Per Order (CPO) for stacked orders through smart optimization.
- Study, prepare, and roll out cities from the on-demand working model to the shift model.
- Optimize shift city forecasts, rider demand estimations, zoning, and slot availability.
- Systematically optimize all shift city setups to ensure smooth rider operations.
- Lead new initiatives, such as recruiting college students as freelance riders.
- Enhance rider daily performance by optimizing Issue Service and Rooster Compliance tools.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and processes for consistent daily work.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
- Promote adherence to policies and procedures among team members.
- Ensure work continuity by following daily operations related to the job.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports concerning the line of work.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing needs courteously and promptly.
- Participate in identifying and recruiting key talents for departments.
- Manage, guide, and assist direct reports in performing their functional operations.
- Set performance objectives, provide support, evaluate team performance, and deliver regular feedback.
- Uphold a high-performance working environment and promote organizational values.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain and finance.
- Great Excel and analytical skills.
- Decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
