Manager Accounting

About the Role

The Esports Foundation is seeking a Manager Accounting to oversee its accounting department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the accounting functions, providing financial analysis and support for decision-making within the organization. The Manager Accounting will ensure that all financial activities adhere to established policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Manage accounting staff, encompassing hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and IFRS regulations.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
• Manage accounting systems and software.
• Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS.
