About the Role

Visa (KSA) is seeking a Manager, Consulting to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to delivering consulting engagements for clients across KSA, focusing on identifying strategic opportunities, resolving business challenges, and achieving measurable impact. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and combines client problem-solving with project leadership, stakeholder management, commercial support, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

The Consulting Manager will lead various aspects of client engagement and internal practice development, ensuring high-quality delivery and strategic impact. This includes direct client interaction, project oversight, and contributing to the growth of Visa's consulting capabilities.

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of consulting engagements, focusing on high-quality outputs, practical recommendations, and strong client impact.
  • Translate complex business questions into structured analyses, actionable insights, and executive-level narratives.
  • Develop client recommendations based on data, market context, and Visa’s capabilities.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and priorities concurrently while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.
  • Serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for client teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Support senior client discussions by clearly articulating findings, risks, recommendations, and implementation considerations.
  • Manage client feedback, pushback, and evolving requirements constructively and solution-orientedly.
  • Partner with cross-functional Visa teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, Risk, and Innovation, to shape relevant client solutions.

Business Development and Practice Building

This role also involves supporting business growth and enhancing the consulting practice through strategic contributions and knowledge sharing.

  • Support the development of proposals and consulting pitches by transforming client issues into commercially viable problem statements and workplans.
  • Identify follow-on opportunities and contribute to pipeline growth by linking current delivery to broader client needs.
  • Participate in strategic planning discussions with internal teams to help shape future engagements.
  • Contribute to the development of internal methodologies, reusable assets, and intellectual property.
  • Build expertise in priority consulting topics and become a credible advisor internally and externally.
  • Bring external market insights and innovation to client engagements, particularly in areas relevant to KSA and the broader GCC region.

Project Leadership and Team Development

The Manager, Consulting will oversee project workstreams and foster team growth and collaboration.

  • Oversee project workstreams, coordinate team members, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Coach junior team members and contribute to capability building through mentorship, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Help build a strong team culture by promoting collaboration, accountability, and excellence in execution.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong consulting toolkit, payments or financial services experience, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience managing multiple projects or workstreams in parallel.
  • Client Engagement: Demonstrated client-facing experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and executive storytelling.
  • Regional Experience (Preferred): Experience working in the Middle East, preferably in KSA.
  • Organizational Acumen (Preferred): Ability to operate in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
