Role Summary

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for ensuring students' academic success and helping them reach their full potential. This is achieved by effectively implementing the SABIS® curriculum and philosophy, coupled with the consistent application of SABIS® teaching methods within the classroom setting. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons using provided plans for assigned subjects, with the potential to develop plans based on pacing charts as needed, utilizing the SABIS® point system.
• Mark exams related to the taught subject in accordance with departmental schedules and materials.
• Discuss student disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) as required.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain an effective learning environment in the classroom.
• Proctor exams as necessary, ensuring a properly managed and conducive test environment.
• Provide guidance and motivation to academically low-performing students to support their improvement.
• Develop and/or follow up on external exam preparation by reviewing previous exams as outlined in the structured revision schedule, where applicable.
• Assist with various duties including student testing, substituting for absent teachers, organizing students for lunches and buses, controlling traffic, and other administrative tasks assigned by school management.
• Prepare for and participate in activity plans related to student life events, such as art, open houses, and physical education, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).
• Attend training sessions as needed and requested by school management to enhance understanding of the SABIS® system and improve student performance.
• Perform other related tasks or projects as they arise and are delegated by the school management.

• Bachelor's degree in a related subject matter or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
