About the Role

WSP is seeking a Mechanical Inspector - Saudi National to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to a major data centre project, where the successful candidate will ensure all mechanical works adhere to specified standards and designs.

Project Context

The role is based on a significant data centre project located east of Riyadh. The primary responsibility involves verifying that all mechanical installations are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant industry codes and standards. This position is crucial for maintaining project quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams on site.
• Review method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate site records.
• Support quality assurance and health & safety requirements on site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector on large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience on data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
