Medical Coordinator
Job Description
Part-Time Personal Clinic Coordinator – Riyadh
A physician working at a private hospital in north Riyadh is seeking an organized, reliable, and proactive Saudi female Personal Clinic Coordinator to provide dedicated administrative and patient-coordination support.
This is a flexible part-time role involving evening clinics and regular follow-up outside clinic days. It is particularly suitable for someone living in or near north Riyadh who has good availability and is seeking a consistent part-time position.
Key Responsibilities
The coordinator will work directly with the physician and assist with clinic organization and patient follow-up, including:
- Contacting patients approximately 10–14 days before appointments to confirm attendance and, according to provided instructions, inform them of any required preparation.
- Obtaining and organizing pending laboratory and investigation results and ensuring they are available to the physician promptly.
- Coordinating the opening of patient encounters outside clinic sessions when required for medication refills or other appropriate patient requests.
- Following up on insurance requests, rejections, queries, and requests for additional information.
- Attending clinic sessions to facilitate communication and patient flow, including briefly identifying the purpose of visits and, according to predefined instructions, whether investigations or procedures need to be arranged before the physician sees the patient.
- Coordinating patient inquiries and pending matters between clinic sessions.
- Assisting with other administrative and coordination responsibilities as the role develops.
Working Schedule
Current clinic schedule:
- Saturday: 3:00–7:00 PM
- Monday: 6:00–10:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:30–7:30 PM
The Saturday clinic is expected to change to approximately 12:00–4:00 PM. Clinic days and times may change periodically, so flexibility is important.
On clinic days, the coordinator will generally attend around clinic hours, arriving approximately one hour before the clinic starts and finishing approximately one hour before it ends.
On non-clinic days, a hospital visit of approximately 1–2 hours at a flexible time is required to follow up on patient inquiries, laboratory results, medication requests, insurance matters, and other pending tasks.
Although the daily working hours are part-time, the position requires regular availability and continuity throughout the week. Attendance may therefore be required on most days except Friday.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should:
- Be a Saudi female.
- Be proficient in English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be comfortable using computers and learning hospital electronic systems.
- Be organized, dependable, punctual, and proactive.
- Communicate professionally with patients, hospital staff, and different departments.
- Handle confidential patient information with discretion.
- Be flexible regarding evening hours and occasional schedule changes.
- Preferably live in north Riyadh or within convenient commuting distance.
- Ideally have availability for a flexible part-time commitment without conflicting obligations.
Previous experience in healthcare, hospital administration, medical secretarial work, patient coordination, or a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
