About the Role

Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp is seeking a Medical Representative for its Vaccines Unit team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position designed for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The selected individual will represent the company within an assigned territory, operating in a dynamic professional business environment.

Role Context and Objectives

The Sales team supports customers by providing clinical and educational information about products, clinical training programs, and resources. The primary responsibility of the Medical Representative is to effectively communicate with customers, individually or in groups, to encourage the appropriate use of company products. This involves selecting and utilizing various support systems to accurately convey technical and economic information, ensuring products are prescribed when indicated. The incumbent will work under the supervision of their immediate supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and apply the organization's ethics and values in all interactions, maintaining high ethical standards of business.
• Plan and execute calls to healthcare institutions within the assigned territory, adhering to company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Work to raise awareness and advocacy levels among Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in the assigned territory.
• Achieve financial objectives and communicated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Actively manage the territory plan and accounts in scope from planning and forecasting perspectives.
• Deploy marketing strategy and key tactics in the assigned territory to expand assigned brands in line with company values and procedures.
• Participate in scientific events for healthcare professionals.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is based in Riyadh and operates within a professional business environment. The position requires approximately 30% travel time.
