The Role of Network Security, Senior Engineer

SOOR is seeking a Network Security, Senior Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise network and cybersecurity solutions. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for handling technical projects, providing professional services, and supporting customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain network security solutions.
• Deploy and manage security solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Forcepoint.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewall policies, NAT, IPsec/SSL VPN, SD-WAN, and High Availability (HA).
• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot EDR, NDR, DLP, Proxy, and email security solutions, including integration with existing security infrastructure.
• Implement and support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, and wireless networks.
• Perform security assessments, configuration reviews, and security hardening.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades, system migrations, and security solution integrations.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, and as-built documents.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in network security.
• Demonstrated experience with security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Proven ability to implement, configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network and cybersecurity solutions.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
