OPERATIONS DIRECTOR MULTI VENUE

About the Role

TGP International is seeking an Operations Director for Multi-Venue operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading food and beverage operations across a diverse portfolio of owned, operated, and managed venues, as well as providing F&B operations consultancy for new projects. The Operations Director is responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining brand standards across all sites, regardless of ownership. The role requires regular travel between venue and project locations, with regional and international travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead revenue performance for the portfolio, developing growth plans for each site, including sales, covers, average spend, and revenue mix.
• Generate and implement commercial ideas such as new concepts, menus, events, and partnerships to create measurable incremental revenue.
• Oversee menu engineering and pricing architecture to increase spend per head and margin while maintaining value perception.
• Manage day-to-day operations across all sites, ensuring adherence to performance, standards, and compliance.
• Set annual operating plans, trading calendars, and standards frameworks, ensuring each site has an approved budget and marketing plan.
• Design and implement F&B projects in line with client scopes of work, project plans, and timelines, ensuring timely execution and quality.
• Act as the senior operational counterpart for venue owners, clients, landlords, and partners.
• Ensure consistent application of the TGP Operations Manual, policies, and procedures across all sites.
• Conduct rolling reviews of KPIs, guest feedback, and market trends to shape brand and cuisine mix.
• Manage profit and loss accountability for the operated portfolio and fee, margin, and cost accountability for managed and consultancy work.
• Ensure high guest service quality, manage feedback, and resolve complaints effectively.
• Oversee health and safety, cleaning, maintenance, and compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop venue and departmental leadership teams, monitoring performance and supporting recruitment.
• Provide operational and commercial input for new openings and site transitions, ensuring readiness and post-opening stabilization.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrable track record of generating commercial ideas that resulted in revenue growth.
• Strong leadership ability with experience motivating and developing teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues, employees, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Sound business acumen and commercial judgment across all operational aspects.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
• Ability to read and analyze financial reports, including P&L, cost control, and labor reports.
• Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
• Literacy in contracts and agreements, including authority limits and reporting obligations.
• Experience in multi-site planning, prioritization, and time management.
• Strong analytical skills for data assessment and evidence-based decision-making.
• Working knowledge of EPOS and hospitality systems, as well as productivity, project management, and financial software.
• Knowledge of local and international competitor activity in food and beverage.
• Experience in restaurant marketing, promotions, and activation.
• Ability to recruit, train, coach, develop, evaluate, and manage disciplinary actions.
• Working knowledge of labor law and disciplinary procedures in operational markets.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring regular travel between venue and project locations. Regional and international travel may also be necessary. The Operations Director will be part of the management team, contributing to company policy and maintaining open communication with the Country Director and the company support office.
