About the Role

RiDiK, a subsidiary of CLPS (Nasdaq: CLPS), is seeking a Storage Administrator – * to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract role is dedicated to providing essential operational and technical support for the enterprise storage infrastructure, ensuring its stability and optimal performance.

Role Overview

The Storage Administrator – * will be responsible for the daily management and support of storage environments. This encompasses active monitoring, efficient handling of incidents and service requests, performing routine administration tasks, and proactive troubleshooting of storage alerts, escalating complex issues to higher-level teams when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide * operational support for enterprise storage infrastructure.
  • Monitor storage systems, including capacity, performance, connectivity, and hardware health.
  • Troubleshoot storage-related incidents and alerts within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform routine storage administration activities such as LUN creation, deletion, and expansion; volume provisioning and decommissioning; storage capacity monitoring and management; host/initiator registration and mapping; and storage allocation and reclamation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SAN/NAS environments, including basic troubleshooting of FC, iSCSI, and NFS connectivity issues.
  • Proactively monitor storage capacity and identify potential capacity or performance issues.
  • Support storage zoning activities in coordination with SAN and Network teams.
  • Troubleshoot host-to-storage connectivity and multipathing issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot disk, controller, port, and other hardware alerts.
  • Assist with storage firmware upgrades, maintenance, and change activities.
  • Support storage migration and data movement activities as per documented procedures.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot replication-related alerts, escalating issues when required.
  • Collaborate with backup teams to troubleshoot storage-related backup failures.
  • Perform daily and weekly storage health checks and maintain operational reports.
  • Manage incidents, requests, and changes using ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of storage configurations and troubleshooting activities.
  • Coordinate with Windows, Linux, VMware, Network, and Application teams for effective issue resolution.
  • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in storage administration or a closely related field. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise storage infrastructure and the ability to provide effective operational support.

This is a contract position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic environment, providing critical support for enterprise systems.
