The Patient Experience Officer Role

My Clinic KSA is seeking a Patient Experience Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all patients within My Clinic’s facilities. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a patient’s experience, encompassing both their treatment journey and their overall stay at My Clinic’s facility.
  • Communicate directly with patients to understand their needs and guide them towards appropriate treatment and progress.
  • Empathize with patient concerns during their recovery process, providing support to alleviate anxiety.
  • Correspond with care providers, including physicians and nurses, to inform them of individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Generate and deliver periodic progress reports on the strategic plans and operations of the Patient Experience Unit.
  • Prepare and present reports detailing patient progress, setbacks, and overall status.
  • Perform additional professional duties as assigned to support patient experience initiatives.

Patient Journey and Operational Improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map the patient journey from admission to discharge, identifying areas for improvement at various touchpoints.
  • Implement changes to streamline processes and minimize potential points of patient frustration.
  • Resolve patient complaints and concerns by working with relevant departments to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Establish and maintain a structured feedback loop to capture patient insights and drive continuous improvement in services.
  • Implement patient-focused programs within the healthcare environment.
  • Oversee training programs for healthcare staff to enhance their interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and patient engagement practices, providing ongoing education on patient-centered care best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
