About the Role

IQVIA is seeking a Patient Support Programs Senior Consultant to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing high-quality, timely input to client projects within the life sciences sector. Assignments will range in complexity, from basic analysis to assisting in the development of more sophisticated solutions. The role may also involve leading small teams or work streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project manager and primary point of contact for managing significant Patient Support Programs (PSP) in collaboration with regulatory and pharmaceutical clients.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing client requirements or challenges, and contribute to the development of program designs and client solutions.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify client issues and develop tailored solutions.
  • Implement quality assurance and control measures for national programs across the region.
  • Support the design, structure, and completion of presentations tailored to specific audiences.
  • Develop and oversee training and onboarding activities for Patient Services across the region.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership and case studies related to Patient Services.
  • Proactively build foundational knowledge of consulting methodologies and the life sciences market through project delivery and continuous learning opportunities.

Engagement Management

Engagement-specific responsibilities will be assigned and managed by Engagement Managers or Principals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in patient support, market access, and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Hospital experience is considered an advantage.
  • Must be a Saudi National.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to work effectively with others across the organization to achieve team goals.
  • Understanding of fundamental business processes, their interdependencies, and the impact of internal and external factors on decision-making.
  • Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, and techniques relevant to the functional area.
  • Awareness of current industry developments and major competitors.
  • Understanding of the marketplace dynamics.
  • Familiarity with professional/trade associations, key individuals, and companies.
  • Effective time management skills.
