About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a Planning Engineer with strong expertise in Primavera P6. This full-time position in Riyadh requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on supporting planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for EPC, construction, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely project delivery in accordance with project objectives and DCP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, develop, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Develop baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
  • Analyze project delays, critical paths, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Track manpower, equipment, and material progress against schedules.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support tender planning and resource loading activities.
  • Ensure compliance with project milestones, contractual requirements, and DCP standards.
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide planning updates.
  • Prepare look-ahead schedules and progress measurement reports.
  • Review subcontractor schedules and monitor performance.
  • Assist in claims preparation, extension of time (EOT), and delay analysis when required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer.
  • Demonstrated strong expertise in Primavera P6.
  • Experience with EPC, construction, and infrastructure projects.
  • Detail-oriented approach to planning and scheduling.
