Portfolio Manager

About the Role

Lifera is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to coordinating delivery oversight and ensuring portfolio performance across assigned portfolios, programs, subsidiaries, and functions. The Portfolio Manager will consolidate critical project and program information, challenge delivery statuses, manage cross-project dependencies, and prepare essential inputs for governance, escalation, and decision-making processes.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive oversight and performance management for assigned portfolios. While Project Sponsors, Program Leads, Project Managers, and Business Owners retain their defined delivery and outcome accountabilities, the Portfolio Manager acts as a central point for information consolidation, status validation, and dependency management to ensure coordinated and effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery oversight across assigned portfolios, programs, subsidiaries, functions, and Group projects.
• Maintain a consolidated view of projects, programs, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and benefits.
• Validate and challenge project and program RAG status, forecasts, recovery actions, and reporting quality.
• Consolidate project updates into comprehensive program and portfolio performance views.
• Maintain integrated program roadmaps and monitor cross-project dependencies and decision requirements.
• Lead weekly Project Delivery Reviews for assigned areas and support the Portfolio & Program Review.
• Prepare governance packs, escalation inputs, decision requirements, and recommended actions.
• Coordinate with Project Sponsors, Program Sponsors, Program Leads, Project Managers, and Business Owners to resolve information gaps and progress actions.
• Direct and quality-assure the work of assigned EPM Specialists.
• Escalate material exceptions to the EPM Director through defined governance routes.
• Support project intake, placement, tiering, onboarding, and gate-readiness reviews.
• Identify portfolio resource constraints, delivery conflicts, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience is required for this role.
