About the Role

Salt is collaborating with a leading global cloud services provider that is expanding its operations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is for a Pre-Sales Lead specializing in Cloud & Managed Services. The role focuses on supporting enterprise customers with their complex cloud, data center, migration, security, and managed services needs across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

Role Purpose and Context

The Pre-Sales Lead will serve as a key technical expert, working directly with enterprise customers, sales teams, and delivery teams. This involves designing tailored cloud solutions, leading technical discussions, and supporting significant digital transformation opportunities throughout the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements, qualify opportunities, and shape customized cloud, infrastructure, and managed services solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with IT leaders, architects, and C-level stakeholders to assess current environments and define future-state cloud architectures.
  • Prepare technical responses for RFPs/RFIs, including solution design, architecture options, sizing, and implementation approach.
  • Present proposed solutions to customers through workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and executive-level presentations.
  • Support proof of concepts, cloud migration planning, and solution handover to delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across sales, delivery, architecture, and operations to ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable and technically deliverable.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 10 years of experience across IT infrastructure, cloud, data center, managed services, or enterprise technology.
  • Strong experience with at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to design enterprise-grade cloud solutions covering compute, storage, networking, security, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers across complex infrastructure or application modernization projects.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud, cloud migration, managed services, and cloud security.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
  • Cloud certifications across AWS, Azure, or GCP are highly preferred.
  • Open to client meetings and regional travel when required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position requires active engagement with clients and internal teams, with occasional regional travel to support business needs.
