About PepsiCo and the Preseller Role

Guided by its vision, PepsiCo Positive (pep+), the company focuses on sustainability and human capital. We are seeking a Preseller to join our full-time sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

As part of the KSA sales team, the Preseller's primary role is to maximize sales volume, minimize product stales, and achieve distribution targets. This position involves implementing agreed merchandising standards, collecting accounts receivable, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The Preseller will also provide supervisors with the latest market information to develop sales opportunities and will attend training courses designed to improve professionalism and customer service. Daily debriefing with the supervisor is a required part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers, with performance measured against established targets for sales and stales reduction.
  • Ensure customers receive approved service levels, adhering to call frequencies and daily route plans to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks as per operating procedures, maintaining the sales vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, and reporting any defects or damage promptly.
  • Supply ready-to-ship customer orders on time, including full details and delivery arrangements.
  • Maintain individual customer stock levels to agreed requirements to minimize out-of-stock problems.
  • Implement agreed in-store merchandising communicated by the supervisor, coordinating with company merchandisers for additional support where applicable.
  • Advise the supervisor of any relevant competitor activity taking place in the assigned area.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash, and credit sales.
  • Maintain a neat and presentable appearance at all times.
  • Uphold a high standard of driving and obey all driving regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales and Account building.

Work Environment and Expectations

The Preseller will operate within a dynamic and collaborative team environment. Performance will be measured using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and consistent delivery of required results is expected.
