The Role: Professional Services Senior Consultant

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Professional Services Senior Consultant to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, onsite role, primarily requiring work from an HPE partner or customer office. The Senior Consultant will provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams, offering technical support and leadership in creating and delivering technology solutions tailored to meet customer business needs. The role involves understanding customer businesses and maintaining effective relationships to ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and implement detailed technical designs based on project requirements.
• Develop enterprise-level technical solutions.
• Lead technical assessments and solution delivery for clients.
• Manage team performance and lifecycle within project contexts.
• Coordinate installation, design, and migration activities across networks, applications, or platforms.
• Provide advanced technical consulting, including support for proposals, system tuning, and solution modifications.
• Contribute to company strategy and client needs analysis.
• Respond to technical inquiries and develop solutions using industry-standard products.
• Engage in innovative problem-solving across various technologies.
• Share knowledge within the professional community, produce technical materials, and present at conferences.
• Support sales activities, manage bids, and contribute to the growth of existing customer portfolios.

Technical Expertise and Leadership

The Senior Consultant applies advanced subject matter knowledge to resolve complex business issues and is recognized as a subject matter expert. This role provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams, potentially participating in cross-functional initiatives. It requires significant independent judgment to determine optimal methods for achieving objectives and may involve providing team leadership and mentoring to others. Contributions will regularly and sustainably impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services.

Strategic Contribution and Business Impact

This position is accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The Senior Consultant maintains knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge, actively contributing to HPE’s solutions portfolio by providing technical knowledge and methodologies. The role also involves shaping technical direction and strategies within the organization and for external customers, contributing to profitability by generating new business opportunities and providing technical support for deal proposal development.
