Role Summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Control Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading project control functions for a rail project, ensuring robust planning, cost management, progress reporting, and risk mitigation. The Project Control Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project control standards and procedures, driving continuous improvement, and interfacing with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the rail project.
• Monitor project progress against approved baselines and milestones, analyzing schedule performance and identifying critical path activities and recovery plans.
• Establish and manage project cost control systems, monitoring budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Prepare Cost Performance Reports and Earned Value Analysis (EVM), identifying cost variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop project KPI dashboards and performance metrics, producing weekly and monthly progress reports for management and client review.
• Maintain project risk registers and mitigation plans, supporting quantitative and qualitative risk assessments.
• Lead the project change management process, evaluating schedule and cost impacts of change requests and variations.
• Support commercial teams in evaluating claims and change orders, reviewing contractor schedules and progress reports.
• Lead and mentor Project Controls Engineers, Planners, Cost Engineers, and Reporting Specialists.
• Interface with client representatives, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project control management.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining integrated master schedules for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in establishing and managing cost control systems, including earned value analysis.
• Experience in risk and change management processes within complex projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
