The Opportunity: Project Control Manager

AECOM is seeking a Project Control Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in project control, focusing on rail projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management to ensure project success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the rail project.
  • Monitor project progress against approved baselines and milestones.
  • Analyze schedule performance, identify delays, critical path activities, and formulate recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, systems, and commissioning teams to ensure schedule integration.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and forecast project completion dates.
  • Establish project cost control systems and procedures.
  • Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Prepare Cost Performance Reports and Earned Value Analysis (EVM).
  • Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage project cash flow forecasts and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 18 years of experience in project control roles, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing integrated master schedules.
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining robust cost control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring, variance identification, and forecasting.
  • Experience with risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
