About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join its team in Riyadh. Reporting directly to the Project Director, this full-time role is responsible for the comprehensive development, implementation, and management of planning, estimating, cost control, risk management, and document control services. The Project Controls Manager will provide crucial information to ensure proactive and accurate project reporting.

Project Context

This position supports a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development in Riyadh. The project aims to establish itself as a global landmark, recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination. KBR provides Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services, encompassing project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the project controls team.
  • Develop and implement the project controls execution strategy to achieve contract requirements.
  • Establish project controls standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the program management team on all aspects of project controls.
  • Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project master schedule.
  • Establish and manage the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), budget, and project cost control.
  • Establish and manage the risk management plan.
  • Establish and manage document control processes.
  • Establish and manage change control procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze project progress, cost, and risk.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and weekly reports.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls.
  • Required professional memberships and charterships: MRICS or MCIOB.
  • Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively monitor and analyze progress, cost, and risks, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East is advantageous.
