About LIONS Riyadh

LIONS Riyadh is a new festival launched by Tahaluf in partnership with LIONS and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Media. It functions as a distinct event within the global LIONS community, which includes the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. LIONS Riyadh aims to highlight Middle Eastern creativity, talent, and storytelling on a global platform, connecting regional creative industries with international networks, brands, and decision-makers. The inaugural three-day festival is scheduled to take place in KAFD, Riyadh, from December 6–8, 2027.

The Role: Project Manager - LIONS Riyadh

Tahaluf is seeking a Project Manager for LIONS Riyadh. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves managing project delivery for events. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating processes, managing stakeholders, and overseeing event execution within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management systems, procedures, and processes to ensure inter-departmental timelines and deadlines are met.
• Evaluate and align processes to improve overall delivery and approval workflows.
• Conduct continuous risk assessments, including milestone alignment, resourcing, and contingency planning.
• Maintain the integrated LIONS Riyadh master project plan across all functional workstreams.
• Track key dependencies between Content, Marketing, Commercial, Partnerships, Creative, and Operations to prevent delays.
• Manage project risk, issue, decision, and action logs, ensuring clear ownership and escalation.
• Support the implementation of the LIONS Riyadh governance structure.
• Manage stakeholder interactions across internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and reporting.
• Prepare project-status reports for the Event Leadership Group and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate information flow between Tahaluf, LIONS Riyadh stakeholders, partners, and functional leads.
• Manage custom event delivery with the Special Projects team, Marketing Manager, and Event Manager.
• Direct onsite staff and team members for successful event delivery.
• Oversee non-department-tied deliverables such as badging and merchandise rollout.
• Support marketing, programming, and operations elements of event delivery, acting as a point of contact for custom projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional Festival initiatives.
• Manage the collation of speaker assets from confirmation to final presentation delivery.
• Support the execution of event production and logistics, including speaker logistics.
• Manage minutes and tasks reporting, tracking, and monitoring for meetings.
• Coordinate recurring project and governance meetings, ensuring agendas focus on decisions, risks, and critical dependencies.
• Track post-event milestones and conduct evaluations to assess success metrics and gather feedback.
• Prepare final reports summarizing achievements, lessons learned, and recommendations for future events.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders concurrently.
