QA/QC Engineer Civil/Structural

About the Role

Double Marks Contracting is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer – Civil/Structural to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a major Data Center project. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day quality control and inspection activities for civil and structural works, initially focusing on earthworks and subsequently reinforced concrete works.

Responsibilities

• Implement project QA/QC requirements for civil and structural works.
• Prepare and manage ITPs, checklists, WIRs, MIRs, and other quality documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with the Client/Consultant and site team.
• Inspect excavation, formation levels, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, and related civil/structural works.
• Verify works against approved IFC/shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate concrete and material testing with approved laboratories.
• Maintain inspection and testing records.
• Raise, track, and close NCRs and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Surveyors, BIM/Technical team, and subcontractors.
• Maintain quality records required for project handover and closeout.
• Report quality issues and inspection status directly to the Project Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience with earthworks and reinforced concrete construction.
• Good knowledge of ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant ACI, ASTM, BS/EN standards and project specifications.
• Previous Saudi Arabia/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Experience in Data Center, industrial, or major infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills are required.

Work Environment

This role requires full-time on-site work in Riyadh. Candidates with immediate or short-notice availability are preferred.
