Job Description

About the Role

Azure is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on providing technical, field-level quality assurance across various compounds, ensuring compliance with approved standards and procedures. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Job Purpose and Context

The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for conducting on-site technical quality inspections, including MEP, fire and life safety, housekeeping, and contractor compliance. A key aspect of the role involves following up on resident cases, complaints, and observations to ensure their completion and closure according to approved procedures. This role primarily involves accelerating case handling through follow-up, coordination, and verification, without direct responsibility for executing corrective actions or resolving cases, which remain with compound management and relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on complaints and observations under Quality monitoring with responsible parties until verified closure within approved timeframes.
  • Conduct on-site visits to verify case closure, collect evidence, and observe resident-facing service quality.
  • Collect and organize supporting evidence and case documentation, and maintain the Cases Tracker.
  • Monitor response and resolution times against approved KPIs and SLAs, reporting any breaches.
  • Send reminders and escalate critical or overdue cases to the responsible owner, and to the Quality Assurance Manager / VP of Operations when SLA limits are breached.
  • Coordinate with compound managers and relevant departments to obtain updates and evidence for verification.
  • Administer and follow up on resident satisfaction surveys, and track issues from public reviews.
  • Conduct scheduled and unannounced quality inspection rounds across compounds using approved checklists for MEP, fire and life safety, housekeeping, security, community facilities, and contractor compliance.
  • Record non-conformities, observations, and risks using approved Quality systems, and follow corrective actions through to verified closure.
  • Consolidate inspection findings into clear, fact-based reports.
  • Verify that removed, replaced, or surplus items are declared at Work Order closure and transferred to the approved workshop, ensuring no storage in residential units.
  • Participate in item assessment in coordination with Operations and monitor compliance with disposal procedures.
  • Compile case, survey, review, and inspection data into preliminary summaries and monthly reports.
  • Support continuous-improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and audit and review activities.
  • Track quality initiatives and action plans approved by the Quality Assurance Manager, ensuring regular status updates.

Authority and Scope

The role holder has authority to access sites, complaint records, survey data, reviews, case logs, and contractors for monitoring, follow-up, and inspection purposes. This includes requesting updates and supporting evidence from compound and department teams, raising non-conformities, sending reminders, and escalating SLA breaches and critical cases to the Quality Assurance Manager (and VP of Operations where defined). The officer will also participate in and document Disposal Committee reviews and record decisions. This role does not include authority to approve corrective actions or deviations, close cases on behalf of operations, individually decide on disposal, or direct operational staff.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct technical quality inspections.
  • Experience in case oversight, resident feedback management, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in using quality systems and maintaining accurate records.
