Quality Assurance Specialist I

About the Role

GDC Middle East is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist I to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting the company's Quality Management System by conducting internal audits, surveillance, and investigations. The specialist will report to the Aviation Quality Manager and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and established procedures.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist evaluates compliance by collecting objective evidence through interviews, documentation review, and on-site assessments. This position requires the application of a full range of principles, concepts, and methodologies related to quality assurance functional programs within the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with AS9100/AS9110/AS9120 standards, contractual requirements, and internal company procedures.
• Apply methods, principles, and practices related to quality assurance fields, including statistical analysis, control and sampling, and quality data analysis to determine compliance.
• Utilize thorough QA knowledge to investigate, analyze, and ensure corrective action on complex quality problems.
• Develop and implement a surveillance plan with clear objectives and a master schedule identifying required audits.
• Perform random surveillance across Team GDC ME operations to verify proper procedure adherence, documentation, and paperwork usage.
• Initiate, coordinate, and support Corrective Action Plans (CAP), including root cause analysis and verification of effective corrective actions.
• Review CAP responses to ensure root causes are addressed and corrective actions are effective.
• Maintain and retain Audit Working Documents (AWD), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), root cause analyses, and consequent Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance. The position requires a strong understanding and practical application of quality assurance principles and methodologies.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the GDC Middle East team. The role involves working closely with the Aviation Quality Manager and other team members to maintain and enhance the company's Quality Management System.
