About the Role

Development Works Company is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join its project team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves ensuring that all construction activities adhere to approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, codes, and quality requirements. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Control procedures for construction activities on site.
• Inspect works and materials to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs/WIRs) and coordinate inspections with consultants.
• Review Method Statements, Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, and technical documents.
• Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials throughout the construction process.
• Ensure compliance with the project QA/QC Plan, applicable codes, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and quality-related meetings as required.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure of quality issues.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in quality control within construction or general contracting projects.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical documents and preparing inspection reports.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and quality requirements.
