Quality Manager

About the Role

WETICO is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the quality function at its Manufacturing Plant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing inspection, testing, process control, and product conformity across skid manufacturing projects. The Quality Manager will be responsible for the plant's quality management system, leading the factory QC team, and ensuring product integrity and on-time delivery of compliant products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the plant quality management system, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Lead, assign, and mentor the factory QC team, including quality engineers and inspectors, across electrical, mechanical, and welding scopes.
• Set inspection and test planning for manufacturing projects.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection, IFAT/FAT, and product conformity for skid manufacturing.
• Facilitate pre-inspection meetings (PIM) and manage coordination with clients and third-party agencies (SAVID/TPI) for inspections and releases.
• Manage Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes, root cause analysis, and the closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) at the plant.
• Drive process control, supplier and incoming material quality, and coordinate with production, design, procurement, and PMT.
• Consolidate plant quality KPIs and ensure completeness of the Manufacturing Data Report (MDR) dossier.
• Report quality performance to the Quality Director and monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant standards.
• Support audits and drive continual improvement initiatives across the plant.

Experience and Knowledge Requirements

• Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing quality.
• At least 5 years managing a factory QC function in modular fabrication, oil and gas, or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven experience with IFAT/FAT, client and SAVID/TPI regimes, and leading QC teams.

Education and Certification

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is required.
• Welding or NDE inspection certification (CSWIP, AWS) is an advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a manufacturing plant setting, focusing on skid manufacturing projects.
