Parsons Corporation is seeking a Quality Training Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The specialist will play a key part in developing and delivering quality-focused training programs within the organization, supporting its commitment to excellence.

Core Training and Competency Development

This role involves comprehensive management of training initiatives to enhance quality awareness and staff competency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop project quality training plans.
  • Deliver quality awareness and induction programs.
  • Coordinate competency development activities and monitor staff competency.
  • Identify training needs and recommend improvements based on effectiveness monitoring.
  • Develop training materials and presentations.
  • Maintain comprehensive training matrices, competency records, and attendance logs.
  • Prepare training effectiveness reports.

Quality System Support and Compliance

The specialist will support the implementation and adherence to quality standards and procedures across projects. This includes:

  • Support the implementation of the Project Quality Management System.
  • Promote compliance with ISO 9001 standards and project quality procedures.
  • Assist in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support internal and external quality audits and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Track lessons learned and promote best practices.
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Stakeholder Coordination and HSE Integration

Effective collaboration and integration of safety principles are integral to this position. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with project management, quality teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Organize quality workshops and awareness sessions.
  • Ensure training activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Integrate quality and safety awareness into training programs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in quality training and project support:

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting major infrastructure or construction projects.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

Preference will be given to candidates who also bring the following specific experience and knowledge:

  • Experience on airport or major infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC project environments.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement programs.
